The Recycler Live- Brussels Conference  27-28 June 

 

All registrations for The Recycler Live – Brussels Conference   (hereinafter “Event”), held by Recycler Publishing & Events Ltd (hereinafter “Organiser”), on 27-28 June 2019, are subject to the following conditions:

1. Registration

Online registration via the Event website is required for participation in the Event. This applies to all Event attendees, including invited speakers, contributors, moderators, members of the press, guests and employees of Recycler Publishing & Events Ltd. 

Registration: After completing the online registration form and paying the registration fee, the Event participant will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation and an invoice indicating the registration fee.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend or deny registrations as it deems fit.

The registration deadline is 19 June 2019. After the registration deadline, registration may be possible on-site during the Event on a first-come first-served basis. Because space is limited, early registration is recommended. All participants will receive an individual badge on-site, which must be worn throughout the duration of the Event. The badge is valid exclusively for registered participants and is not transferable.

Participant registration is handled by Connett & Unland GbR on behalf of the Organiser utilising the Eventbrite event registration platform. For additional information about registration, please contact:

2. Registration Fees and Methods of Payment

Fees for participation in the Event include all plenary events, workshops, receptions and meals listed in the final conference programme.    
 
Registration fees are determined as follows:

All fees are given in euros and include local taxes.

The registration fees will be collected by Eventbrite on behalf of the Organizer. Payment can be made by credit card only (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express).

Payment for early registration must be completed by the latest 30 April 2019. After this date, the regular registration fee will apply.

3. Cancellations/Changes


All cancellations and changes must be submitted in written form for reimbursement and must indicate the participant’s full name, company contact details and registration or invoice number. For cancellations received by 26 May 2019, the registration fee will be reimbursed. No-shows, as well as cancellations received after 27th May 2019 will not be reimbursed for registration fees.

Changes to the registration (such as a name change or registration of a replacement participant) can be made free of additional charges after payment has been received. 4. Privacy Protection

Photos will be taken during the Event. By attending the conference, you agree to photographs of you being taken, which may be published by the Organiser and/or the Recycler for public relations purposes or reporting on the Event. 

 
5. Other Expenses (travel, accommodation, etc.)


Event participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and other related expenses. The organisers recommend that accommodation be booked and reserved at your earliest convenience.

6. Insurance

While attending the Event, kindly note that you bear the risk of personal injury or loss of property and/or luggage. We strongly recommend that you take out insurance when making your travel arrangements. The insurance policy should cover reimbursement of registration fees in the case of cancellation, accident, loss or damage to personal property, as well as health insurance. The insurance should also cover any financial losses regarding accommodation and travel schedule due to service disruptions arising from insolvency, strikes or other labour disputes.
    
7. Legal Disclaimer

The Organiser shall not be liable for damages that occur to you in connection with your attendance at the Event, except for those damages resulting from intent or gross negligence, including damages resulting from injury to life, body or health. In case of ordinary or slight negligence, the Organiser shall be liable only for a breach of its material contractual obligations.   To the extent permitted by law, (i) the Organiser shall not be liable for any lack of commercial success, lost profits and indirect damages, and (ii) liability in accordance with the above clauses shall be limited to damages that are typical as well as foreseeable to the Organiser at the time of registration of the participant.

The Organiser reserves the right to change the programme, related activities, topics and participating speakers as it deems fit. The Organiser is not liable for losses incurred by the cancellation of the Event as a result of circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances include, for example: war, terrorism, hijackings, uprisings, laws or government regulations, denial of visa issuance, travel delays or difficulties, insolvency of airline companies and strikes. The Organiser will take all reasonable steps to proceed with the Event in spite of such circumstances.

All contractual relations between you and the Organiser shall be governed and construed solely by the laws of England. Place of jurisdiction is Oxford, England.
