Retail Inkjet Solutions has announced the installation of the RIS InkCenter at the New York University (NYU) Bookstore, where customers will be able to bring in their empty inkjet cartridges for refills, reports Digital Journal.
NYU, one of the largest private universities in the US, is said to have “evaluated other alternatives and ultimately determined that the RIS InkCenter offered the best solution”.
Cecilia Gonzales, CEO, Retail Inkjet Solutions, commented: “We are excited to add NYU to our growing list of university partners. Students are printing for less now at NYU. Less money, less waste… students get it.”
Kathy Bear, Associate Director, NYU Bookstore, added: “RIS provided excellent installation and marketing support to launch our service. Volume is really taking off as the word spreads about our new service. RIS has been committed to developing this business with us.
The installation at NYU follows recent developments in the University of Wisconsin, and Utah’s Brigham-Young University.
