Refill24 España acquires FortyTwo solution formula

Spanish franchise acquires the formula from FortyTwo CEO Jürgen Frahne in a bid to retain stock of the cleaning agent.

Harald Nordhausen, CEO of Refill24 España, has spoken with The Recycler on the franchise’s latest acquisition: the formula for the cleaning solution as previously provided by German molecular cleaning materials specialist FortyTwo Cleaning Systems UG.

The liquid cleaning solution, described by Frahne as “not so much a cleaning agent but a cleaning tool […] like using a hammer” began being distributed in Refill24 stores in November 2011, with Nordhausen at the time speaking of the “great benefits for the customer’s sevrice and an incredible gain in the efficiency of our shops. Now, there is hardly any cartridge that cannot be reused.”

However, with Frahne reportedly approaching financial difficulties and Nordhausen wishing to continue to stock the solution in his stores, he proceeded to purchase the formula of the liquid from Frahne.

Refill24 is now the main producer of the cleaning solutions.

Nordhausen notes that the cleaning solution is currently being sold in Germany by an unaffiliated Refill24, and in Swiss countries by CBR, and Fredy Gass will be on hand at Remanexpo Frankfurt 2013 to demonstrate the cleaning solution.
