GIT Dubai helps produce hourly newsletter at GITEX event

GIT Dubai helped to oversee the production of an hourly newsletter at the recent GITEX event in Dubai, one of the leading ICT events in the region.

The remanufacturer told The Recycler it partnered with CPI Dubai, which
printed an eight-page colour newsletter every hour during the five-day event.  GIT used its own remanufactured HP CP5525 cartridges.

Managing Director Dr Sassan Deiter Khatib-Shahidi explained: “We planned and executed the printing of up to 1,000 newsletters live at the CPI stand at GITEX. Overall more than 250,000 pages were printed based on [an] A4 spread.

“GIT managed everything, printers, set-up, technical support, execution of printing, and of course more than 100 units of HP CP5525 cartridges were used during the process. Most importantly the many visitors to the site could witness over five days [of] top quality flawless printing in such large volumes on one of the most challenging printer models for cartridge remanufacturers, the HP CP5525.”

He added: “This is a path GIT is taking more and more. We intend to achieve at least 10 percent of our revenue in 2012 from this market segment. Dubai is a city of events and conventions. GIT is capable of deploying large numbers of printers (the actual hardware) on [a] short term basis, provide technical support, execute print operations and of course, at the heart of it all, provide its quality remanufactured cartridges.”
