Two Cartridge World franchise owners that own three stores have added a fourth, located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, reports the CDA Press.
Ben Irwin and Pat McCord already operate three locations in Spokane, but are keen to expand further after strong growth. They also plan to open their fifth store, also in Spokane. McCord said
the operation was still in “growth” mode.
Irwin told the CDA Press that the recession had had a particularly strong impact on business, stating: “That’s what has allowed us to expand.”
The partners plan to make the best of their multiple locations by having each one specialize in refilling and servicing different products before redistributing to the other stores, which they hope will both cut down on costs and help insure quality. The new Coeur d’Alene store will focus on Epson, Canon and Brother cartridges.
The 1,600 square foot building is located near a Costco and other businesses with the aim of utilizing their traffic, and also includes a drive-through window. The store will open by the end of next week while the finishing touches are put in place.
