TONERS 2010 will be held May 17 – 19, 2010 at the Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel
Organizers of TONERS 2010 chose famed entrepreneur Arnald Ho from the top achievers in the toner industry to kick off this year’s event.
As Chairman of Print-Rite Holdings, Ltd., his mantra “one team, one heart, one goal, one dream” has been fulfilled as surely in business management as in his numerous philanthropic endeavors. With all eyes on China, India and Southeast Asia, all ears will attend Mr. Ho’s presentation on Monday evening, May 17 to learn his perspective on the present and future direction of the toner industry.
Pira International, in partnership with The Tiara Group LLC, announced that most speakers have been confirmed for the 2010 Toners Conference. Set to take place in Marina del Rey, California on May 17 – 19, this Seminar will feature a Keynote Address, 14 presentations, an Exhibit Area, two receptions and what has been described as one of the finest Networking programs in the toner industry.
The program provides a thorough overview of the toner industry, with special focus devoted to new technology, new markets and growth opportunities within the industry. With a highly interactive atmosphere, in which questions will be asked of each speaker, this event will provide an opportunity for both newcomers and industry veterans to participate. “We have long taken pride in presenting a great forum for interactive discussion and Networking within the toner industry,” says Art Diamond, Chairman of The Tiara Group. “And we are filled with enthusiasm for the topics to be heard at this year’s event!”
The main program will feature market analysts Charles Brewer and John Shane who will analyze the toner market worldwide and discuss current trends and future directions. Toner manufacturing consultant Graham Galliford will discuss the status of China’s toner manufacturing industry while consultant Velliyur Sankaran will overview the status of biopolymers for toner production.
World renowned patent attorney Edward J. O’Connor will discuss legal issues and court actions currently in play that are essential to anyone manufacturing, using or selling toner.
Eastman Kodak’s Dr. Dinesh Tyagi will present a tutorial on toner chemistry and technology, followed by consultant John Cooper with a discussion of carrier materials and their technology. Mr. Hiroshi Morimoto of Nippon Pneumatic Company, Ltd. will discuss NPK’s novel toner rounding equipment to reshape mechanically ground toner.
Mr. Sanjeev Mahajan of India’s Navran Advanced Nanoproducts will characterize India’s toner manufacturing industry and his associate, Dr. A. K. Srivastava, will update the group on chemically produced toners.
Rick Greenlaw of Print Recovery Concepts will discuss soy based toners and the status of his company’s marketing activities, while Dr. Jeffery Clark will present a discussion of the basic chemistry and economics of biotoners and give his perspective on end-user acceptance of these environmentally friendly products in the months and years ahead.
With a speaker still to be assigned, a session on “The Polylactides as Biopolymers for Toner” is also planned.
A panel discussion will focus on the question, “Are Biotoners the Next Bubble in the Worldwide Toner Industry?” Finally, Art Diamond will present a wrap-up of the entire event.
